Wednesday

During my day today, we continued the adventure with the children in connection with the space theme week. During the morning, after breakfast, they could paint the moon and paper plates black using the pressing method (they started painting the plate with smaller pieces of sponge, by pressing a little into the paint and then onto the plate), which became the galaxies. Then we continued free play activities on the carpet, among which we played with the animals and in the baby kitchen I babysat with two little girls and cooked lunch for them. Today's sessions were as follows, Böbe and Flóra (she was also an English kindergarten teacher in my group) laid out our solar system and they brought a black sheet and someone could always travel to one of the planets in it because they had to whisper in Böbe's ear where they wanted to go. That way, the child who was pointed to could lie down in the sheet, and the preschool teachers would swing him in the sheet and thus get to where he wanted to go. So we learned the order in which the planets are arranged in our solar system. We also shot out like a rocket in the framework of the other game: each child got a bean bag under his feet and had to sit with his knees up, on which we had to drum our feet, we said a rhyme and when the boom came, we all leaned back and pushed our feet into the sky. Each child got a planet headband and we also played how the planets revolve around each other in real life. After eating the fruit, we went out to the yard and after that everything happened like the other days. During my day today, I was there until 4, as I can't come on Thursday, due to completing the mandatory first aid course. After the children got up, they got their snack, after which we played on the carpet and after the clean up song played, they packed up and sat down in a circle. We sang the song "Five little men in a flying saucer" and like snakes holding each other's ankles, the children crawled out of the group room into the dressing room, then changed their clothes and went out into the yard.
